Chevrolet Blazer 2021: The Perfect SUV For Those Who Love To Drive
December 23 2020,
The Chevrolet Blazer begins its second full year on the market this year with the same impressive and remarkable styling that has dictated its success since its launch. The new Blazer offers impressive styling inspired by the Chevrolet Camaro. The interior also impresses with its clean, sporty styling featuring several technologies such as an integrated Wi-Fi system and standard OnStar Assistance System.
Powerful engines in the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer
The Blazer's powertrain is a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that generates 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. Climbing through the ranks, the 3.6-liter V6 produces 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Like the four-cylinder engine, it benefits from a nine-speed automatic transmission specially tuned to handle the engine's power. For both powertrains, Chevrolet included stop-start technology and aerodynamic flaps to control fuel consumption.
Chevrolet also introduced a new 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that develops 230 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to its powerful powertrains, the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer can tow up to 4,500 lbs.
When it rains or snows, the available all-wheel drive system shifts traction to all wheels for maximum grip. The front wheels can receive up to 50 percent of the SUV's torque while either rear wheel can receive up to 85 percent.
All versions of the Blazer have a large interior for five occupants. The passenger compartment volume is a generous 3,053 liters. In the rear seat, passengers have 1,006 mm of legroom. A rear seat booster helps parents monitor children, while the Blazer also offers advanced technologies such as Teen Driver. The maximum cargo volume is 1,818 liters, which provides enough space for the needs of an active family.
